Boys & Girls Club of Garfield to recognize Board of Trustees
& Executive Committee Installation

On February 12, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Venetian in Garfield, NJ the Boys & Girls Club of Garfield will induct two new members of the Board of Trustees Rosa Rodriguez of Garfield and Dan Ritson from Archer & Greiner, Attorneys at Law in Hackensack.  Six other members of the volunteer led Board of Trustees will have their terms renewed for another three years.  These members include John Reilly, Tony Lio, Michael Alfonso, Chris Annibal and Zvonko Veskov.    Additionally, John Reilly, immediate Past President will be recognized for his outstanding leadership over the last two years and the Club will recognize Trustees as the Outstanding Board Member of the Year and the outstanding Ambassador of the Year.

Incoming, Executive Committee to be inducted at the Installation Brunch include new Board President, Lou Ann Visotcky.  Lou Ann is a resident of Garfield and an administrator for St. Mary’s Hospital, she is a past member of the Garfield Board of Education, has been a member of the Boys & Girls Club Board of Trustees for more than ten years.  Lou Ann was previously the Vice President of Resource Development for the Board and is the first ever woman to hold the position of President for the Boys & Girls Club of Garfield. 

Rosalind Piazza, will be installed as the incoming Vice President of Board Development.  Rosalind Piazza is a Healthcare Professional with extensive experience in Healthcare related issues.  Ms Piazza has her own consulting company called R.J. Piazza Consultants LLC.  Ms Piazza recieved her under graduate BS degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick under the Lansing P. Shield academic scholarship. She obtained her MPA Masters Degree in Public Administration from Seton Hall University.  She has worked in hospitals,private sectors,insurance and publicly traded Healthcare companies for over 30 years.  This is Rosalinds second year on the Board of Trustees and she has made an amazing impact on the Club very quickly. 

Also to be installed as a member of the Executive Committee is Anthony Lio.  Tony is Vice President of the Garfield Board of Education and this will be his second year as Vice President of Finance and Oversight for the Board of Trustees.  Tony is alumni of the Boys & Girls Club of Garfield and is married to Dana Sorbello Lio and has two sons Dane and Anthony.  This is Tony’s fourth year on the Board of Trustees and he and his wife have been volunteers for the Club for more than ten years. 

Mrs. Laura Amerman will be installed onto the Executive Committee as the new Vice President of Resource Development.  Laura is Associate Director of Development for the Seaman’s Church Institute, she is also a graduate of Bergen LEADS and a member of the NJ Association of Fundraising Professionals.  Laura is a graduate of Drew University and this is her second year on the Boys & Girls Club of Garfield Board of Trustees. 

Krystle Reilly a resident of Garfield and a Kindergarden Teacher for the Garfield Board of Education will be installed as the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.  This is Krystle’s fourth year on the Board and Krystle is also an alumni of the Boys & Girls Club of Garfield.
