Kandece Francis

Kandece Francis is the Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the CEO at the Boys and Girls Club of Garfield.  Kandece maintains close daily contact with Club staff to enforce guidelines and ensure policies and procedures are upheld.  She is also responsible for assisting the CEO with administrative functions and all fundraising efforts and events. Kandece comes to the Club with over 10 years of administrative and supervisory experience. At age 18, Kandece joined the military and served four years active duty in the US Coast Guard.  While enlisted, Kandece served two years on a 378 foot high endurance cutter that has performed missions including search and rescue, migrant interdiction, drug interdiction, Homeland Security patrols and disaster relief.  While enlisted, she trained to become a member of the helicopter tie-down and fire-fighting team. 

Born in NYC, Kandece moved to Bergen County six years ago to become part of the Boys and Girls Club of Garfield staff in August of 2010 and enjoys seeing the young smiling faces every day.
